Opening Vietnam International Tourism Fair – VITM Hanoi 2022

In the morning of March 31, 2022, in Hanoi, Vietnam International Tourism Fair – VITM Hanoi 2022 was officially opened. This is an important event of the tourism industry right after Vietnam fully reopened domestic and international tourism activities from March 15, 2022.

Attending the opening ceremony were Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Doan Van Viet; Director General of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism Nguyen Trung Khanh; Standing member of the Culture and Education Committee of the National Assembly Bui Hoai Son; Chairman of Vietnam Tourism Association Nguyen Huu Tho; Standing Vice Chairman of Vietnam Tourism Association Vu The Binh, Head of Organizing Committee of VITM Hanoi 2022; leaders of the local tourism industry; leaders of national tourism agencies in some countries in Vietnam; international organizations; businesses in the fields of aviation, travel, accommodation, resorts, attractions, amusement parks … along with thousands of people and tourists to visit the fair.

VITM Hanoi 2022, the largest trade fair of Vietnam’s tourism industry, will take place from March 31 to April 3 with the theme “New normal – New opportunities for Vietnam’s tourism”. The fair is a practical activity to implement the Vietnam Tourism Recovery Program on the basis of promoting domestic tourism, developing inbound and outbound tourism. This is also an opportunity for management agencies, tourism promotion agencies and businesses to exchange and discuss issues of recovery and development of Vietnam’s tourism after the COVID-19 pandemic, in which focuses on building safe tourism products, protecting the environment, digital transformation to transform tourism into a green economy and a digital economy.

VITM Hanoi 2022 attracts the participation of about 320 booths from 52 provinces and cities nationwide and from 6 countries and territories including: Japan, Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, and Taiwan (China) ) and Turkey.
