Upon arrival, meet up our driver at Hanoi airport and transfer without guide to hotel in Hanoi city center for check-in at the hotel (after 2pm). Rest of day is at leisure.

08:00 – 08:30   Tour guide pick you up at suggested places around Hanoi Old Quarter.

Start the trip with Tran Quoc Pagoda, a Buddhist relic and national heritage lying on the West Lake. Visit Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, the final resting place of Vietnam’s greatest father; his house – on – stilt and One Pillar Pagoda – modeled after a lotus flower, a symbol of Hanoi.

Visit the Temple of Literature constructed in 1070 dedicating to Confucius, sages and scholars. It was also the first university of Vietnam once.

12:30   Relax and have lunch at a local restaurant in Hanoi Old Quarter.

Explore daily life of traditional ceramics village of Bat Trang. Visit showrooms and see how they model the products. Arrive legendary Hoan Kiem Lake, visit Ngoc Son Temple dedicated to Tran Hung Dao – General Commander for his struggle against Mongolians.

15:30   Drop you off. Tour ends.

Noted: Those wearing shorts/miniskirts are not allowed to enter the mausoleum. All visitor shoulder must be covered with clothes.

DAY 3              HA NOI – HA LONG – HA NOI                                     (B/L/—) S.I.C

Breakfast at hotel.
08:00 – 08:30   Tour guide pick you up at suggested places around Hanoi Old Quarter, transfer to the Ha Long Bay. After boarding the boat you will start a relaxing and wonderful cruise through World Nature Heritage Ha Long Bay, passing bizarre rock formations. Lunch of seafood on board.

The picturesque Ha Long Bay has more than 3,000 limestone islets rising from the clear emerald water, many of them containing beautiful grottoes. You will visit Thien Cung grotto situated on the south-west side of the bay, 4 km from the wharf outside of Halong City. The way to Thien Cung grotto is covered on both sides by thick forest. After entering a narrow gate, the grotto’s 130-meter-long girth opens up. Getting in you will be more astonished in front of the very animated and splendid beauty which is made from the stalactites. On the east wall of the grotto, there is a grandiose and imposing picture with characters of tales. Going out of the Thien Cung grotto, you will have a sensation of just watching a unique, meticulous, interesting fine-art museum which is made by nature. This grotto is one of the most beautiful ones in Ha Long Bay.

Late afternoon transfer back to Hanoi. Arrive in your hotel in late evening.
